After a 35 year career in commercial and scientific photography and video I am now keen to explore my photography on a more personal level.  

I feel my experience over so many years in creating images has assisted me in filtering out the obvious and helping me to explore the imperceptible qualities of a simple subject at a certain time. These almost metaphysical qualities are a combination of time, space and atmosphere and are not necessarily governed by any physical attributes. I am drawn to texture, light and shape.

I love finding a location that I feel has potential and being patient until an image reveals itself. Music is the catalyst that helps me to see beyond the scene and connect with the time and place.
